Other than artist listings, we also write about and welcome article contributions on topics related to singing, theater, and vocal performing arts.
We carefully review and evaluate each article submission and reserve the right to decline submissions for whatever reason we deem legitimate. To improve your chances of getting published with us, consider the following guidelines.
1. Topics that are relevant to singing only.
We are specifically interested in:
- Tips, advice or information about singing, theater and vocal performing arts
- Helpful tips, experience or information for individuals seeking work or visibility as singers
2. Content style and format
We only accept well-written original content that hasn’t been published anywhere else. Content must be highly informative, useful, engaging or helpful. It should be around 500 words or more, and must be formatted for readability. For example, bullets or illustrations may be used if applicable.
3. Inclusion of media
You may provide one image, which you own or are permitted to use. You may also include relevant video embeds or infographics in post submissions as long as these are permitted by their copyright owners for publication.
4. Rejection of promotional material
We immediately reject material that is highly promotional of a company or a product. These include articles that use repeated keywords.
5. Author name and bio
We only allow mentioning the author name or business in the bio section at the end of an article. This may include one link to a web page or social account only.
6. Review process
Due to the volume of work and emails we have to contend with, we may not be able to immediately respond to queries and article submission requests. Please be patient if we aren’t able to email back right away. Article reviews may take a week or two to complete.
7. Other submission inquiries
If you have any inquiries, would like to request faster processing or if you’re after something else in particular, feel free to drop us a line at our contact page.
